ABOUT US
The SOUTH ATLANTIC YOUTH NETWORK (SAYN) is a pioneering platform that unites young leaders from across the South Atlantic to reimagine the relationship between Africa and Latin America. In a world increasingly shaped by multipolar dynamics and the rise of global south cooperation, Africa and Latin America must strengthen their collaboration across the South Atlantic in the coming decades. We believe it is crucial to engage in thoughtful dialogue about the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for this partnership. As young leaders, we are confident that our collective voice can drive positive change and significantly enhance the relationship.
OUR GOALS
1. Promote South-South Cooperation: Foster partnerships between youth organizations in Africa and Latin America to enhance collaboration on regional issues.2. Empower Young Leaders: Provide training and resources to equip young leaders with the skills necessary to influence policy and drive change.3. Encourage Dialogue: Organize forums and events that facilitate discussions on shared challenges, including climate change, governance, and youth empowerment.
